Job Summary

This role involves supporting and advancing the Linux infrastructure within the Bavarian State Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BayLfV), a major German domestic intelligence service. The administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of Linux systems, including installation, configuration, updates, patching, and ensuring system stability and operational readiness. A key focus is the maintenance and development of customized, innovative in-house software solutions. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, possess German citizenship, and be prepared to undergo an extensive security clearance.
