Job Summary

This critical role supports the leadership of the Electrical Engineering Department within a major European research center, ensuring technical operations are optimized to facilitate cutting-edge research. The position requires providing comprehensive technical and organizational assistance, with a key focus on the autonomous operation and strategic development of the electromechanical locking system for the Technical and Operations division. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptual planning for migrating mechanical systems, preparing and revising crucial occupational safety documents such as risk assessments and operating instructions, and supporting the Quality Management Representative in evolving the QM system (DIN EN ISO 9001). Furthermore, the technician assists with inventory management, including processing goods receipt and electronic reservations using the SAP system. Ideal candidates must possess a state-certified technician or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, coupled with professional experience in the field, occupational safety, and quality management. This is a long-term, permanent position offering stability and flexible working arrangements.

Required Skills

Education

Completed advanced training as a state-certified Technician, Master Craftsman, or Bachelor Professional in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Multiple years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering
