This role seeks a Technical Manager to lead and coordinate all technical operations within the Faculty of Media at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organizational leadership of the laboratory engineer team and ensuring seamless technical support for cutting-edge research and teaching activities involving sustainability, AI, and VR technologies. Key daily tasks include managing the technical infrastructure of specialized labs (audio, video, VR/AR), planning procurement, maintenance, and coordinating first-level IT and AV support for students and faculty. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Media Technology or IT) and several years of professional experience, including proven experience in leading staff. Expertise in media technology, AV systems, and network infrastructure is essential.
