Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Chemical Operator or Technician to join a globally leading refinery specializing in rare metals, mineral products, and raw materials, located in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. The core responsibilities involve the hands-on manufacturing of inorganic, value-intensive fine chemicals essential for the European battery industry. Day-to-day tasks include controlling and monitoring complex technical production plants, operating sophisticated process control systems, conducting regular sample taking, and meticulously documenting all processes in shift and plant logs. A critical component of the role is ensuring strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, as well as promptly identifying and reporting system malfunctions. Candidates must possess a completed relevant vocational qualification (Chemical Operator, Technician, or Laboratory Technician) and be prepared to work within a 4-shift rotation system (38 hours/week).
