Job Summary
This role involves leading a diverse department within a modern psychiatric and psychotherapy clinic, overseeing approximately 60 employees across purchasing, transport, kitchen, warehouse, and cleaning services. The successful candidate will manage a significant operational purchasing budget of around €15 million annually and be responsible for tender processes (VOB and UVgO) as well as hazardous materials and waste management. This leadership position requires a strong understanding of complex public sector workflows, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to drive process optimization. The ideal candidate will be a fair, appreciative, and motivating leader, capable of diplomatic negotiation and assertive decision-making, while fostering cooperative social processes. Required Skills
Education
University degree with a focus on economics, social sciences, or health sciences
Experience
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a manager or project leader
- Experience in process analysis, (re-)organization, and optimization of business processes in hospital infrastructure
- Professional experience in fair, appreciative, and motivating employee leadership
- Strong understanding of workflows in complex public sector systems
- Experience in independently initiating projects and challenging existing structures
