Job Summary

This role is for a Datacenter Hardware Technician focusing on rack mounting, cabling, and hardware handling within a leading IT service provider in Walldorf, Germany. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of racks, installation and removal of servers, switches, and storage systems, as well as laying and removing network and power cables according to documentation. You'll also assist with troubleshooting server, cabling, and network component issues, meticulously documenting all work in English. This is an attractive opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of server, storage, and network components who enjoys working in a data center environment, maintaining an overview of cabling plans, and actively contributing to a team.
