Job Summary

As a Senior Edge Computing Expert, you will be instrumental in ensuring Germany's digital future by contributing to the strategic renewal of the BWI's service portfolio, focusing on IoT and AI. Your day-to-day will involve technically verifying and evaluating novel approaches for Edge Computing and IoT devices, including machine learning, real-time processing, and distributed systems. You will develop future-proof strategies for AI computing capacity at edge locations and continuously research emerging technologies. This role requires deep knowledge of IoT device deployment and management, strong programming skills, and experience with containerized applications. You will work within the Technology Center Future Computing & Security, a technology-focused team dedicated to identifying and evaluating cutting-edge computing innovations for the German Armed Forces.
