Job Summary

The City of Erbach is seeking an IT System Administrator to join its IT department. This role is crucial for maintaining a stable, secure, and future-oriented digital infrastructure for the city administration, which includes approximately 45 virtualized server systems and 150 clients across various locations. Day-to-day, the administrator will provide first-level support for hardware and software, manage network administration, and directly assist colleagues. Beyond support, the position offers opportunities to actively participate in digitalization projects and shape the technical future of the city's administration. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for technology, capable of maintaining composure in a fast-paced support environment, and possesses strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows, Office, Active Directory, and network technologies.
